Digital Television Switchover
Early next year, analog television signals will be replaced with an all-digital format. Televisions receiving free, over-the-air broadcasts must be upgraded or a converter to process the signal must be aquired.
Each household is eligible for two coupons--worth $40 each--toward the purchase of digital-to-analog converter boxes. For more information, visit the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
